What Countertop Fabricators Struggle With
Three pain points we hear from fabricators in 40+ countries - and the tooling that solves them.

Precise Edge Profiles

Bullnose, ogee and bevel profiles must be consistent and clean - poor wheels leave steps and shading.

Seamless Polishing

Uneven grit steps and heat marks ruin the gloss; clients expect a flawless, uniform finish.

Sink & Faucet Cutouts

Rough or cracked cutouts around sinks and taps look unprofessional and slow installation.

Technical Tips for Countertop Fabricators

1

Run Profile in Sequence

Start with the roughest profile wheel, then step to finer wheels before polishing - skipping steps leaves shading.

2

Wet Polish Quartz

Quartz generates heat fast; wet polishing prevents burnout and keeps the edge from yellowing.

3

Control Router Speed

Too fast burns the profile; too slow chatters. Match RPM to wheel diameter for a clean, even edge.

4

Support Cutouts

Clamp and back up sink and faucet cutouts to avoid blowout on the underside of the slab.
