7 Steps Dry&Wet Square Pattern Pads – Progressive from 50# to 3000#. Every step precisely controlled. Not racing against time – racing against gloss. The "mirror guarantee" for high‑end projects.

The trend in polishing pads is "faster and faster" – 3‑step, 5‑step systems, trying to get it done in one go. But there's a category of projects that's not in a hurry. Showrooms, hotel lobbies, high‑end residential, museums – if the floor doesn't meet gloss standards, the client won't accept it. That's why 7‑step exists.

7‑step doesn't pursue "fewer pad changes." It pursues "every step done right."

50# → 100# → 200# → 400# → 800# → 1500# → 3000#. Every number represents a full grinding cycle. 50# opens the floor, 3000# brings out the gloss. The five steps in between – none of them can be skipped.

Why is "more pad changes" actually the smarter choice?

Fewer changes means "one pad covers multiple grits" – mixing coarse and fine diamonds in the same pad. Coarse removes material, fine polishes at the same time. Sounds great, but there's a catch: coarse and fine wear at different rates. By the time the coarse is still working, the fine may already be worn out. The result – coarse isn't coarse enough, fine isn't fine enough.

7‑step does one thing per pad. 50# does 50#'s job. 100# does 100#'s job. The grinding marks from each step are precisely "corrected" by the next. The final gloss is the highest and most uniform.

In short: 3‑step is "efficiency first." 7‑step is "quality first." For high‑end projects that aren't in a rush – choose 7‑step.

How do the 7 steps map out? What does each step do?

Each of the 7 steps has a clear role:

Step Grit Use Surface Finish
Step 1 50# Coarse grinding, removing deep scratches, opening surface Rough
Step 2 100# Refining coarse scratches Medium
Step 3 200# Pre‑polish prep, beginning honing Smoother
Step 4 400# Fine grinding, apply densifier Smooth
Step 5 800# Fine grinding, beginning gloss Semi‑gloss
Step 6 1500# Final polish High gloss
Step 7 3000# Final buffing, mirror finish Mirror gloss

Key milestone: Apply densifier between 400# and 800#. Densifier penetrates the concrete surface, increasing density and hardness – allowing the subsequent polishing to achieve higher gloss.

Our advice: Start from 50# and follow the sequence. Don't skip steps. Complete each step before moving to the next.

Compared to 3‑step and 5‑step systems, how much better is the gloss from 7‑step?

Gloss isn't just a number game, but data helps.

3‑step polished floors typically achieve gloss readings between 90‑100. 7‑step can achieve 100+, and more importantly – the gloss is more uniform across the entire floor, no patches of uneven shine.

Why is 7‑step gloss more uniform?

3‑step merges multiple grits into one pad – wide grit gaps. Jumping from 100# directly to 400# means 200# is skipped. Scratches left by 100# aren't fully refined before entering the 400# polishing stage. These "missed" scratches show up in the final gloss – not obvious, but under strong light, the uniformity isn't as good as 7‑step.

7‑step has minimal grit gaps at every step – every scratch is precisely "corrected" by the next step. The final gloss is the highest and most uniform.

Our advice: If your customer wants "ultimate mirror finish," 7‑step is the only choice.
