This 4.5″, 5″, 7″, 9″ (115–230mm) sintered stone silent cutting blade is designed for angle grinders, bridge saws, and table saws. Optimized for Dekton, Neolith, Lapitec, sintered stone, and large‑format porcelain slabs – solving the industry's three biggest headaches: chipping, noise complaints, and rapid tool wear.

Why is sintered stone hard to cut?

Over the past five years, Dekton, Neolith, and other sintered materials have moved from high‑end showrooms to mainstream countertops. But they're completely different from quartz. Sintered stone is ceramicized – fired above 1200°C. There's a saying in the industry: "Cutting sintered stone costs twice as much as cutting granite." The numbers back it up: faster tool wear, high chipping rates, noise levels hitting 100‑108 dB, and edges more prone to micro‑cracking than quartz.

The 2026 market trend is clear: a shift from quartz to sintered stone – not only because of silica dust regulations, but because sintered stone offers superior heat, scratch, and UV resistance. The problem is that most diamond tools were designed for natural stone, not sintered materials. This blade was redesigned specifically for it.

We rebuilt it from three angles:

Triple anti‑chipping – For brittle sintered stone (one Dekton slab can cost over $2,000): thin kerf reduces cutting stress, asymmetric segment arrangement breaks resonance, and a soft bond minimizes impact. Tested 50‑70% less chipping than standard blades.

Laser welding – metallurgical bond – Ordinary brazed blades rely on solder. Under high‑heat, continuous cutting, they can detach. Laser welding fuses segment and core at the metal level – bond strength exceeds 1100 MPa, far stronger than brazing. Factory ISO 9001 certified. Blades meet EN13236 and ANSI B7.1 safety standards.

Multi‑layer silent core + damping fill – Copper damping layer embedded in the core + laser‑cut expansion slots absorb vibration energy and break sound transmission paths. Cutting noise drops from 100‑108 dB to 85‑92 dB – perceived loudness is cut roughly in half. The soft bond formula further reduces high‑frequency vibration noise.

 

Quartz is resin‑bound composite with some "give." Sintered stone is ceramicized – fired above 1200°C. Higher density, higher hardness, but brittle. Tool wear is significantly faster than cutting granite or quartz, cutting resistance is uneven, and edges are prone to visible micro‑cracking and chipping.

Industry data is clear: cutting sintered stone with the wrong blade yields 3‑5x higher chipping rates than quartz. Worse, a single Dekton slab can cost over $2,000 – one bad cut wastes the slab, not just the blade.

Our dedicated blade is re‑engineered on three levels – bond formula, core thickness, segment arrangement – to push chipping rates below 2%. We can make this promise because we optimized for sintered stone's physical properties, not by adapting a general‑purpose blade.

 

This is a critical safety question. Brazed blades use solder to attach the segment – under high heat and long cuts, the solder can soften, and the segment can detach. Laser welding uses a high‑energy laser to fuse segment and core at the metal level – a metallurgical bond.

Strength comparison: Laser weld bending strength: ~1175 MPa; braze joint: ~983 MPa. Both exceed international safety requirements, but laser welds offer superior heat resistance and fatigue strength. Brazed blades carry higher detachment risk during dry, continuous cutting. Laser welded blades do not have this issue.

Every batch undergoes overspeed spin tests (1.5x max RPM) and weld pull tests. Meets EN13236 and ANSI B7.1 safety standards. Factory ISO 9001 certified.
