Technical Parameters

The difference between a wall saw blade and a regular blade isn't size - it's the job. A regular blade goes on an angle grinder – small cuts, shallow. A wall saw blade goes on a large wall saw machine – 600mm up to 1600mm, single-pass cutting depth exceeding 500mm. It faces reinforced concrete walls, bridge piers, floor slabs – the hardest stuff in construction.Silver brazing uses solder to "glue" segments to the core. Solder melting point: roughly 650–700°C. Run dry for too long, heat builds up, solder softens – segments can detach. Laser welding isn't "gluing" – it's fusion. A high-energy laser melts segment and core together at the metal level – metallurgical bond, stronger than the segment material itself. Melting point exceeds 1200°C. Dry cut heat doesn't come close. That's why laser welded wall saw blades handle dry cutting and wet cutting. Silver brazed wall saw blades are typically wet‑only.

For the segment formula, we use a soft bond for heavily reinforced concrete. Hard bonds "glaze over" when hitting steel – the surface polishes smooth and stops cutting. Soft bond sheds dull diamonds at the right rate – fresh ones expose. It cuts through dense rebar instead of stalling.

Urban renewal, bridge demolition, building retrofits – more projects, more demand. As a source factory, we support full customization: diameter, arbor, segment type, core thickness.

Silver braze solder softens gradually under sustained heat. It's not "if" – it's "when." Once the weld fails, the segment flies off – extreme safety hazard. Laser welding fuses segment and core together – not glued. Weld strength exceeds the segment material itself – dry cut heat doesn't touch it.

Many job sites have no water – high‑rise facade demolition, old community retrofits, remote locations. The difference between "can work" and "can't work" is real. Laser welded wall saw blades support 100% dry cutting with high stability.

Silver brazing uses solder to stick two things together. Laser welding melts them into one. A metallurgical bond means segment and core fuse at the metal level. Weld strength exceeds the segment matrix itself – it withstands high torque, lateral forces, and thermal cycling. Silver braze solder softens under sustained heat – laser weld doesn't.

Simple: silver brazing relies on solder strength. Laser welding relies on the metal's own strength. One is glued. One is fused. Different league.

Hard bonds "glaze over" when hitting rebar – the surface polishes smooth, stops cutting, blade is done. Soft bonds don't. The metal matrix wears at the right rate – dull diamonds shed, fresh ones expose, the segment stays sharp.

The more rebar in your concrete, the more you need a soft bond. Wall saw blades face high‑rebar structures – shear walls, frame columns, bridge piers. Our soft bond formula, developed with the latest pre‑alloying technology, is optimized for exactly these conditions. It cuts through dense rebar instead of stalling.

Cutting speed depends on equipment power and concrete strength. Industry reference: standard speed approximately 2–2.5 meters per minute; optimized segments + high‑power equipment – speed improvement of 27–35%. Continuous runtime: 50+ hours.

Compared to silver brazed blades, laser welded wall saw blades allow higher cutting loads due to stronger weld joints – speed improvement of 15–30%. Fewer blade changes, higher equipment utilization. On a large demolition project, fewer blade changes mean less downtime – and downtime is money.
